The current storm is living up to it’s hype and local mountain operations are being affected. While there is still uncertainty about Sunday’s weather, what we do know is that Northstar and their park crew will be digging out on Sunday morning.

In light of these conditions, HP 1 and HP 2 will be moved to Friday, March 8th. We discussed all possible options and believe this will provide the best opportunity for our athletes. The North Tahoe Series has always been well represented at Nationals in halfpipe and we want to make sure we give our athletes the best opportunity to qualify for Nationals.

We understand that this might not be ideal for everyone. Please remember that if an athlete competed halfpipe this season at another series, those points will go towards National qualification. Also, if an athlete competed in halfpipe at Futures Tour, those points also go towards National qualification.

All athletes currently registered for HP 1 and 2 will be moved over to the new date. Refunds will be given to those who cannot attend. To request a refund, email Lori at lclemente@usasa.org.
